Project Manager
I AM WATER is looking for a talented, motivated, and high-performing Project Manager for its I AM WATER Ocean Impact Pty Ltd projects, which consist of various tourism, corporate team building, skills development and retail initiatives – all ocean related.

This position will be on-site at the I AM WATER office in Muizenberg.

Your Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you are entrusted with managing a portfolio of projects in terms of implementation, financials and resources.
Working closely with I AM WATER Foundation, you are in charge of respective administration, implementation and reporting on the portfolio of projects, and report to the CEO and Development Director on the status once a week.

Your Tasks
To assume your responsibilities outlined above, the following tasks are entrusted to you:

Project setup and alignment with project methodology.

Monthly project expense controlling.

Monthly customer invoicing across the project portfolio.
-
Monthly project profitability & analysis on budget burndown, work-in-progress by milestones or percentage completed, and job costing.

Ad-hoc enquiries related to project tasks.

Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

Requirements
Your Skillset
:
-
Personal organisation skills, independent objective-driven work style a flair for numbers and figures.

Presentable with strong communication skills in written and spoken form.

Competency in Microsoft Office packages and/or Google Workspace.
​
Your Background
:
-
At least 3 years of work experience in resource and/or project management in service-related industries. Tourism industry experience an advantage.

Self-starter go-getter person driven by curiosity and ambition
.
