Welcoming the Class of 2026

The new cohort of Adventure-Based Learning (ABL) trainees began their journey this month, diving into a programme full of learning, exploration, and teamwork.

Opening Eyes Underwater

During the 3-day programme orientation for the Adventure-Based Learning 2026 cohort, trainees got to experience an Ocean Guardians Workshop as a child would, immersing themselves in the tidal pool and kelp forest; some for the very first time.

In-Class Activities and Theory

The trainees began learning within our first classroom block: Workplace Communication, and ice breakers and classwork helped the group bond, laying the foundation for teamwork and collaboration in the months ahead.

Exploring the Two Oceans Aquarium

Students got up close with marine life during an ABL outing to the Aquarium, a fun and educational way to connect theory with the natural world.

Book Launch

Recently we attended the launch of Grace and Granny's Seaside Adventure - a new children's book by Wendy Wiemers, whereby I AM WATER is included in the story. We are so have been featured in the story, and to share that a portion of the proceeds will go towards our continued work at I AM WATER.
